15 April 2016 – Lieutenant General Hunan Poghosyan, First Deputy Head of the RoA Police, Major General Gagik Hambardzumyan, Deputy Head of the RoA Police, His Grace Bishop Arakel Karamyan, Primate of Kotayq Diocese, Senior Chaplain Petros Malyan, Pastor of the St. Sarkis Cathedral, spiritual leader of the Police Educational Complex, "Ararat" choir of the diocese, family members of the police officers killed in the line of duty and in the Artsakh Liberation War, were at the RoA Police Educational Complex. On these heroic days, the Police turned his professional day into the Day of Remembrance and Commemoration of Heroes, assuring the Armenian power and decisiveness to the the enemy and friends. Attendees laid flowers on the monument to the killed police officers and on the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Many children of police officers who died during Artsakh Liberation War, continue their work today. Duty towards the motherland belongs to everyone. Thanks to them, the country and its borders are strong. The lesson of loving motherland more than anything, these young men inherited from their fathers, and they proudly say: ''I have the honor''.
