19-21 February 2014 - The Management Academy of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs organized an Open Championship for the members of the Association of CIS police educational institutions featuring table tennis, chess and weightlifting.

The team of the Police Educational Complex of RA, composed of Lieutenant Colonel Albik MINASYAN (table tennis), Senior Lecturer at Combat, Physical and Special Tactics Chair of the College, Lieutenant Colonel Azat BABAKHANYAN (chess), Associate Professor at Administrative Law and Administrative Activities Chair of the Academy, Major Vitalik GZIRYAN (weightlifting), Deputy Head of Service Department, attended the Championship.

In the team competition the Police Educational Complex team won third prize while in the individual competition in weightlifting Vitalik GZIRYAN won first prize.

The participants were awarded diplomas.
