5 to 7 February - The Police Rapid Chess championship was held in the Chess House named after Tigran Petrosyan. The team of the Police Educational Complex won second prize among the participating eleven teams. The team was represented by colonel M. Nazaryan, lieutenant-colonel A. Babakhanyan, and major H. Kutsanyan.  The team representer – lieutenant-colonel  A.Minasyan.
