Academy lecturers and students visit the MIA Academy of Georgia

14-18 November 2016 - In the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between the RoA Police Educational Complex and the MIA Academy of Georgia, the delegation of the Police Educational Complex paid a visit to the MIA Academy of Georgia.

The delegation consisted of Associate Professor, PhD in Law, major Misak Markosyan, Head of Criminal Law and Criminology Chair, lieutenant colonel Samvel Margaryan, Senior Lecturer at Criminal Intelligence and Forensic Science Chair of the Law Faculty of the Academy, fourth-year students of the Academy’s Bachelor’s program Alik Grigoryan, Anzhela Harutyunyan, Roza Voskanyan, third-year students Gevorg Gevorgyan, Mushegh Beglaryan, Julieta Karapetyan, Diana Shahbazyan and Vahram Tiratsvyan.

During the visit, the delegates met with the Rector of the MIA Academy of Georgia Givi Mikanadze. There was a short tour in the Academy, the structure, educational programs and functions of the Academy’s separate units were presented.

During the five-day stay, there were lectures and practical classes on crime scene protection and examination for the students of the Educational Complex.

The delegation of the Educational Complex was also in the Archives of the MIA Academy of Georgia and Criminal Forensics Department of the Interior Ministry of Georgia.
