September 15-20, 2014 – Held 36^th World Armwrestling championship in Vilnius, Lithuania on which participated 10 members of the national team of the Republic of Armenia. For the first time the team involved woman participant. She is police Sergeant Margarita Nersissyan, 2-nd year student of the Faculty of Law of the RoA Police Educational Complex.   

The championship was attended by the national teams of 47 countries. M. Nersissyan (55kg) captured 10^th place in persistent fight. Such a result recorded for the first time in the history of the RoA Armwrestling.
