Memorial mini-football tournament dedicated to the memory of Vardan Petrosyan
From 24-25 of June, a mini-football championship dedicated to Vardan Petrosyan was held at the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The championship was attended by 8 collective teams, which were divided into 2 subgroups. The competitions were held in the Olympic format (the losing team was excluded from the competition).
The first match took place between the team of the Russian Border Guards and the team of the Internal Troops. The match ended with the victory of the Border Troops. In the second match, the team of the Educational Complex beat the team of veterans of the Police. In this subgroup, the team of the Border Troops overcame the team of the Educational Complex by a small margin and took first place in the group, and the second place was taken by the Educational Complex.
In the other group, the patrol service team met with the Yerevan city administration team, the match ended with the victory of the police patrol team. In the next match, the team of the Tovmasyan Foundation won as a result of a battle between the teams of the Tovmasyan Foundation and the embassies.
In the subgroup, the team of the Patrol and Guard Service of the Police lost to the team of the Tovmasyan Foundation.
In the fight for the third place, the team of the Educational Complex defeated the team of the Police Patrol Service and took the third place.
In the finals, the teams of the Border Troops of Russia and the Tovmasyan Foundation met. The team of the Tovmasyan Foundation won with a big advantage.
The teams were awarded the corresponding medals and certificates.
The Vardan Petrosyan award was handed over to the team of the Tovmasyan Foundation.
