Students of the Educational Complex at the Forensic Department of Police of RA
Now the students in the 3rd year of free education at the Educational Complex have visited the Forensic Department of Police of RA.
Senior Lecturer of the Chair of criminal intelligence and Criminalistics of the Academy of the Educational Complex of Police of the Republic of Armenia, police lieutenant colonel L. Sardaryan conducted a practical lesson regarding the subject topic of "Forensic Science" in the Forensic Department in order to strengthen the theoretical knowledge acquired by students.
During the practical lesson, the students were introduced to the types of examinations, fingerprint and bulletproof records carried out in the Department, as well as the peculiarities of the practical work of as an expert.
Visiting the department of special studies, students got the opportunity to get acquainted with various objects, types of research being carried out, and issues solved by examinations.
They also visited the department of trace studies, where they got acquainted with practical examples of various interesting studies, also visited the department of technical and forensic research of documents, followed the process of studying counterfeit banknotes, and got acquainted with common methods of falsification.
The visit provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills acquired during the study of the course "Criminalistics".
