2 June 2016 – The open championship of the Association of police higher educational institutions of CIS member countries kicked off in the RoA Police Educational Complex. The teams from the Management Academy of the Russian Interior Ministry, Belarusian, Tajikistani, Georgian Interior Ministry Academies as well as the team of the Police Educational Complex were competing in table tennis, chess and weightlifting.

Based on the results of the championship, the Management Academy of the Russian Interior Ministry won first prize. The second and third prizes were awarded to the Educational Complex and the MIA Academy of Georgia accordingly. The Academy of the Belarusian Interior Ministry won first prize in the chess competition, the second prize was awarded to the Management Academy of the Russian Interior Ministry and the third prize was awarded to the Educational Complex.

In the weightlifting competition the Academy of the Belarusian Interior Ministry won first prize, the second and third prizes were awarded to the Educational Complex and the MIA Academy of Georgia accordingly.

In the team competition the Academy of the Belarusian Interior Ministry won first prize.
