The Classic Chess Individual Championship devoted to the 97^th Anniversary of the formation of the police of the Republic of Armenia was held at the Educational Complex of the Police of the Republic of Armenia from 23 March 2015 to 3 April 2015.

16 students of the Academy and College of the Educational Complex participated in the championship. Artur Sargsyan, the 3^rd year bachelor’s student of the 2^nd platoon, enrolled in full time tuition free basis education, Faculty of Law of the Complex, took the first place of honor in the championship, the second place was taken by Yurik Srapionyan, the 1^st year bachelor’s student of the 2^nd platoon, enrolled in full time tuition free basis education, Faculty of Law of the Complex, and the third place was taken by Gevorg Hakobyan, the 3^rd year bachelor’s student of the 1st platoon, enrolled in full time tuition free basis education, Faculty of Law of the Complex.

The management of organization and conduct of the championship was implemented by Police Colonel V.Minasyan, the Deputy Head of the Academy of the Educational Complex of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

In the jury of the championship were involved Head of the Chair of Criminal Procedure, Police Lieutenant Colonel A. Hovhannisyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of the Administrative Law and Police Administrative Activity, Police Lieutenant Colonel A. Babakhanyan, Senior Lecturer of the Chair of Physical and Special Tactical Preparedness, Police Lieutenant Colonel A. Minasyan, Lecturer of the Chair of Tactical Preparedness of General and Police Army, Police Major H.Kutsanyan.
