BackThe RoA Police Educational Complex expends the international cooperation
September 16-18, 2014 – The representatives of the Georgian MIA Academy participated in a delegation to Yerevan, headed by Mr. Nukri Gelashvili, Director of MIA Academy. The delegation was composed of Mr. Zaal Kapanadze, Deputy Director of MIA Academy, Mr. Giorgi Revia, Head of Administration of MIA Academy and Mikheil Gelashvili, Head of Development and International Relations Unit of MIA Academy.
On September 17, Lieutenant General Hovh.Varyan, Head of the RoA Police Educational Complex, and Mr. Nukri Gelashvili, Director of MIA Academy of Georgia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in police education. The signing of Memorandum of Understanding was followed by the meeting with the faculty members of the Educational Complex during which the delegates presented the activities of the Georgian MIA Academy, the higher professional education programs the Academy offers, main training directions. On the same day, the members of the delegation met Police Major General Vardan Yeghiazaryan, Head of the RoA Police Headquarters. At the end of the meeting, the members of the delegation were awarded medals on behalf of Lieutenant General V. Gasparyan, Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia.
