September 5, 2014 - From August 18 to September 5, 2014, Senior Inspector Ulf Johnsson, international expert on physical fitness and combat from Swedish Police, was in Yerevan. The aim of the visit of the international expert was to do research in the field of combat and physical training in the respective police departments with a view to identifying the existing gaps and making relevant recommendations.

During the visit, Mr. Johnson got acquainted with the sport facilities and basic conditions of the Educational Complex, legal grounds for the organization of combat and physical fitness activities, as well as current educational programs offered by the Educational Complex. The expert also visited “Dinamo” sport public organization and Combat and Physical Fitness Unit of the Armenian Police to study the legal framework and norms of fire preparedness and to get acquainted with the shooting range. Field studies were also continued in the Yerevan City Police Department and General Department of State Protection.
