BackVisit to the Armenian Relief fund
27 April 2017 - The learners visit to the Armenia Relief Fund (ARF) was organized by the Chair of Criminal Intelligence and Forensic Science, Faculty of Law, the Police Educational Complex Academy, within the framework of conducting training on the subject "Prevention of offenses committed by juveniles".
During the visit, the second-year college learners got acquainted with the history of Center’s creation, the children's living conditions and care, with the work being done by psychologists and educators, study and other programs.
Learners were clarified the circumstances why juveniles are in there. They are the children who do not have a family, who are abandoned, remained homeless, or are begging or they are the victims of violence, and there are deviations in their behavior. The learners saw the central role of the police officers in this process.
The staff introduced reception and delivering regulations of juveniles at that center.
The meeting was held in a warm, friendly atmosphere. College students and teenagers played games, had conversations, which was favorable for both parties.
It should be noted that the study of the subject in this way and organizing such a visit by the Chair of Criminal Intelligence and Forensic Science was not for the first time: it has been regular for years and has become traditional. Such lessons give a clear picture about the activities and responsibilities of police officers, especially inspectors working with juveniles.
