English course by British Council
On the 17th of February the English course organized by the British Council for police cadets and officers was different than ever. On the occasion of successful start of the course, the UK Deputy Defense Attaché to Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan, Squadron leader Joanne Roe, Director of the British Council in Armenia Addeh Hovassapian and the Defense relations officer at the British embassy in Yerevan Andranik Israyelyan visited the Educational Complex..
The guests were met by the Head of the International Cooperation and IT division, police lieutenant-colonel Grigori Davtyan and the Deputy Head of the same division, police lieutenant-colonel Karine Safaryan.
The visitors attended the lesson, where G.Davtyan gave gratitude to the embassy of the Great Britain and British Council for the support to improve English skills of police officers. He emphasized that knowledge of English will be essential for international exchange and educational programs. He thanked to the English instructor Kristine Tonoyan for organizing qualified and usable course.
Joanne Roe talked about the necessity of English hoping that current skills will be useful for professional capacity building.
The guests had cognitive tour around the Educational Complex, got acquainted with the educational programs, visited the Musium of Police of RA.
