On April 5, 2018 Police Educational Complex of RA accepted Deputy Head of Office in Yerevan of Council of Europe Loreta Vioiu, Policy Advisor of Capacity building and cooperation projects unit of Council of Europe Sara Haapalainen.

Head of the Police Educational Complex of RA, Police General-Lieutenant Hovh. Varyan met the guests, after which the discussion was held regarding the domestic violence.

The First Deputy Head of the Police Educational Complex of RA, Police Colonel T. Yesayan, Head of the Educational-Methodical and Development Department of Police Educational Complex of RA, Police Colonel G. Gevorgyan, Head of International Cooperation and IT unit of the Educational-Methodical and Development Department of Police Educational Complex of RA, Police Lieutenant Colonel G. Davtyan presented at the discussion.

The Representatives of Council of Europe introduced the implemented works and experience in the given field.  Afterwards, head of the Educational Complex presented the realized arrangements and educational projects concerning to the prevention of domestic violence.

The representatives of the Council of Europe expressed their will to support the trainings, related to the upgrading and development within the mentioned field.

     At the end of the meeting, Head of the Police Educational Complex, Police General-Lieutenant Hovh. Varyan presented gifts to the guests and, giving importance to the contribution of European Council in the implemented police reforms, expressed his gratitude for the supporting to realize discussed projects and for the continuous cooperation.
