22 April 2016 – German Bundestag Member Christoph Bergner, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Matthias Kiesler, newly appointed Politico-Military Officer of the OSCE Office in Yerevan Bernhard Frankl, and other staff members of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Armenia and the OSCE Office in Yerevan paid a visit to the Police Educational Complex.

The visit aimed at summarizing the outcome of the programs carried out jointly with the OSCE Office in Yerevan and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany and outlining the framework for further cooperation.

The visitors had a tour in the Educational Complex, got acquainted with the educational programs and training courses for police officers. The guests were also in the OSCE-financed gym equipped with state-of-the-art sports equipment, and specialized computer room for entrance exams where Colonel Tigran Yesayan, First Deputy Head of the Police Educational Complex, gave an in-depth presentation on the content of the entrance  exam tests, the terms and conditions of conducting exams and processing examination results as well as the process of formation and composition of the Admissions Committee.

As the meeting came to an end, Ambassador Matthias Kiesler expressed his willingness to discuss any proposal submitted by the Educational Complex aimed at the implementation of reforms in the Police Educational Complex, as well as to support the initiatives
