The delegation of EU at the Educational Complex of MIA of RA
The team leader of the EU program on “Support to law enforcement and security reforms in Armenia” Tomas Bikmanas, international expert Artūras Kemežys and local expert Arevik Simonyan visited the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The guests were greeted by the managerial staff of the Educational Complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, headed by the Head of the Educational Complex, police colonel M. Muradyan.
M. Muradyan, welcomed the guests by emphasizing that he values cooperation with international organizations and foreign educational institutions. He also noted that large-scale reforms are being carried out at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, within the framework of which a lot of efforts are done to implement the educational programs. He also introduced the educational programs aimed at creating a criminal police force with an emphasis on the psychological and communication training for police officers.
The guests expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and mentioned the areas within which reform programs will be implemented: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the police, the migration service and border security.
At the end of the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the peculiarities, structure and functions of the Educational Complex.
