On the 29th of November, there was held the first meeting on “Scientific approaches to the problems of crime and punishment” organized in the framework of the scientific group of the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Academy of the Educational Complex of  Police of RA  within the Academic year 2022-2023. The meeting was conducted by the Head of the Chair of Criminal Law and Criminology, Ph.D. in Law, Associate professor, and police lieutenant-colonel R. Khachatryan. The topic of the meeting was “Methodology of scientific research”. As part of the topic, R. Khachatryan presented the methodology for preparing a scientific article by students. At the end of the meeting, the students asked some questions related to the issues receiving appropriate feedback.

Curricula and methodology used in educational institutions of the law enforcement system were also touched upon. During the meeting, other issues of interest within the framework of the meeting was discussed. At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates.
