The representative of the Educational Complex attended the international forum
The second regional strategic forum of TOPCOP (The Training and Operational Partnership Against Organized Crime) EU agency for law enforcement training (CEPOL) took place from 5-6 of December in Budapest, Hungary.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies of EU Eastern partnership countries and EU relevant experts attended the event. Delegation of the Republic of Armenia was represented by the Head of International cooperation and IT division of Educational-methodical department of the Educational Complex of Police of RA, police lieutenant colonel Grigori Davtyan. The goal of forum was to discuss issues related to the implemented works on the training “Countering trafficking” held at the Eastern partnership program countries’ law enforcement agencies, as well as new cooperation directions within TOPCOP.
G. Davtyan introduced about the educational programs of the Educational Complex and visionary of its actualization. He emphasized also the virtual technologies used in educational process and the necessity to study EU experience. He introduced also the implemented works of the Educational Complex regarding the training course on “Countering trafficking”.
The experts presented in detail the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threats (EMPACT), which is eternal and essential tool within countering international aggravated and organized crime.
