BackVisit of the Master’s degree students of the MIA Academy of Georgia to the Police Educational Complex of RA
17 to 21 July, 2017 - According to the joint plan action 2017 between the Police Educational Complex of RA and the MIA Academy of Georgia, the delegation of the MIA Academy of Georgia was in Yerevan. The visit was aimed at enhancing the close cooperation of the educational institutions and strengthening the partnership ties. The delegation was composed of 4 Master's degree students from the MIA Academy of Georgia and headed by Tata Tsilosani.
17 July –The guests visited the Police Educational Complex where they had a tour around the area accompanied by Lieutenant-General Hovh. Varyan, Head of the RA Police Educational Complex, paid tribute to the memorial of police officers who died while performing police duties, got acquainted with the Educational Complex structure, educational programs, as well as future programs.
18 July – The delegation visited the National Central Bureau of INTERPOL in Armenia, Police of the Republic of Armenia, where Police Colonel A. Fidanyan, Head of the Bureau, presented the structure and problems of the subdivision. Then Mr. Fidanyan held a lecture on “Legal Regulation of the Transfer of Offenders” in English.
During the next days, the lecturers of the Educational Complex conducted lectures on “Legal Regulation of the Fight against Human Trafficking and Exploitation”, “State Sovereignty in the Age of Globalization”, “Legal Status of RA National Assembly in the Context of Constitutional Reforms” for the Master's degree students.
Within the framework of the program scheduled for the days of the event, the guests laid flowers at the eternal fire of Tsitsernakaberd memorial, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, visited the Genocide Museum-Institute. Then the guests visited Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the spiritual and administrative center of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory, Garni Pagan Temple, Geghard Monastery, History Museum of Armenia and Lake Sevan.
