Happy Thanksgiving Day!

On the 20th of November 2018 the Open Lesson, titled “Happy Thanksgiving ̋  took place for the first platoon of the second year students of the Law faculty of Academy of the Police Educational Complex of RA.

It’s a tradition to get acquainted periodically with the culture of English speaking countries, and that event was one more occasion to get informed about. During the lesson the students presented that the tradition of the holiday has a history of centenaries, and it is celebrated in the USA on the 4th Thursday of November (this year- on the 22th of November).

In 1620 a group of English colonists arrived to the State Massachusetts by boat  "Mayflower "   (flower of May) and  established the Plymouth colony.
