The Chess Championship of Police took place at the “Dinamo” sport NGO with the common efforts  of training and physical preparedness of Police of RA and Yerevan Chess federation. 18 teams of subdivisions of Police of RA and Artsakh participated in the competition. Collective team of the Educational Complex of Police of RA won at the category of team competition: Deputy Head of College, police colonel Azat Babakhanyan, senior lecturer of the Chair of training and physical preparedness, police colonel Albik Minasyan, Associate professor of the Chair of Social Sciences and Psychology, police lieutenant colonel Artur Sargsyan, team representative of the Educational Complex of Police of RA, senior lecturer of the Chair of physical training and preparedness, police lieutenant colonel Edgar Poghosyan.

The second and third places were given to the police state protection department and the Headquarter’ s collective teams. 

Representative of the Educational Complex Artur Sargsyan was the best one among individual competitors. Competition award winners were handed with diplomas, medals, souvenirs and premiums. The prizes were awarded by the Head of Yerevan Chess Federation Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, member of presidency of the Federation Artak Manukyan and Head of police physical training preparedness Armen Mkrtchyan.
