On the 12^th of March there was held focus group discussion with the students of the Academy and College of the Educational Complex of Police of RA, initiated by Education quality assurance division. There were carried out discussions on efficiency of students’ knowledge assessment system at the meeting. Head of the education quality assurance division, police captain T. Khachatryan introduced the credit mobility of Armenian education based on legislative and sub-legislative provisions, giving importance to the assessment necessity. T. Khachatryan mentioned that it is implemented some works to improve current assessment system and the opinion of students is quite important.

Senior specialist of the Education quality assurance division A. Gevorgyan informed about  multiple types of assessment system, international attempt, as well as some samples taken from European higher education area. Several questions and opinions were risen by the students, and some of them will be used in evaluation system. A. Gevorgyan added that the headship of the Academy and  lecturers’ staff work actively to develop students’ assessment system, which will be final and be presented to the subdivisions of the  Educational Complex. The outcomes of focus group discussions will help to develop current system of the Educational Complex.
