Abstract. As law enforcement agencies are increasingly operating in a multicultural and multilingual environment, proficiency in foreign languages has become an essential skill for police officers. The article covers the use of simulation technology in teaching foreign languages to future police officers, placing the focus on its effectiveness in improving communication skills, situational awareness and cultural competence.
